Commemorate ANZAC Day here at our tranquil tropical resort, where we’ll be on our balconies paying homage to the brave Australian and New Zealand Army Corps who served and sacrificed in WWI.
This year marks the 104th ANZAC Day Remembrance and one that will be different, while still connected in prayer, as public services will unfortunately no longer go ahead in light of the recent pandemic that has affected us all. ABC will be covering the National Memorial Service at the Australian War Memorial with a program starting at 5am, and we’ve listed a summary of the TV, online and radio coverage for your reading below:
5.00am - ANZAC Stories presented by Dan Bourchier, including origins and firsthand stories
5.30am - National Memorial Service at the Australian War Memorial
11.30am - reflective moment for The Ode, The Last Post and a national one-minute silence
6.55pm - Address by Governor-General David Hurley
RSL Queensland will also be providing an online audio stream of their annual Light Up the Dawn commemorative service at 6am, and are inviting all to stand outside and unite in a special commemoration to our fallen ANZAC soldiers.

Regarding the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, we have implemented social-distancing measures at our gated 12-acre property, including the closure of our pools, spas and communal areas, in addition to increased sanitation measures overall and staff distancing to protect both staff and guests for the foreseeable future.
To be more socially responsible under the current guidelines, we have also reduced staff hours at reception. The new office hours are now 8.30am to 1pm and 2.30pm to 6pm (Monday to Sunday), and any enquiries will continue to be addressed by simply giving us a call.
