Nature and Beaches
Hinterland
Little more than half an hour's trip away from the coast you'll find a great diversity of national parks with waterfalls, bush tracks, glow worm caves, and a wonderful range of wildlife to enjoy. From Tamborine Mountain in the north to Lamington and Springbrook National Parks in the south, the Gold Coast's Hinterland offers spectacular views and natural wonders at every turn. The region’s National Parks are a paradise for walkers with well maintained tracks and plenty of places to stop awhile, catch your breath and enjoy a peaceful picnic in a spectacular natural setting. We recommend Springbrook, Natural Bridge, Mt Tamborine and North Stradbroke Island as the best spots for nature experiences. For tours to get you there, just ask the reception staff at our Gold Coast Luxury Resort.
Beaches
The Gold Coast is home to some of the most attractive beaches and world class surf points in the country. Whether it’s a sunset stroll, a relaxing swim, beach fishing at dusk, an adventure packed scuba dive, or simply splashing in the sea with the kids, the region’s numerous beaches are famous for their pristine, warm blue waters and clean golden sand. The most popular of the 21 patrolled beaches on the Gold Coast include Main Beach, Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Mermaid Beach, Miami and Nobby Beach, all close to our Gold Coast holiday accommodation. For family enjoyment, we recommend Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach and, if you want safer waters, Tallebudgera Creek. For top surf spots, check out Burleigh Heads, Duranbah and Snapper Rock.
